a piece a day
During spring break I am going to do a piece a day. I have these great 6X6 squares of paper left over from mat board frames. I did this piece yesterday starting from a page from an old encyclopedia article on Carmen.

watercoloring
I am taking watercolor this semester and thoroughly enjoying it. Here is the piece I'm working on currently. I have also been enjoying doing tons of little pieces while working a bigger one. Some of those later...

Sketchbook Peek
I haven't posted for over a month, but it's time to start getting back into it. My art classes this semester are watercolor and creating spectacle and I am very excited about both. I will post some watercolor pieces as soon as I remember to bring my camera to the studio, but for now here's what's going on in my sketchbook...

paintings up for january
This post is for you, Mom and Dad. Just hung my oil paintings on canvas from last semester. I actually carried the 6X5 all the way from the art building to Buntrock by myself! Unfortunately, the middle canvas is warped. I may have to restretch the canvas on a new frame after the show comes down.
